Meet Andrew
My name is Andrew Mullin and I’m running for Mayor of Wayzata Currently, I serve as the Vice President of Marketing at EarthDaily Analytics, a company dedicated to observing, verifying, and predicting changes to the Earth’s surface. With our US operations based in Maple Grove, Minnesota, EarthDaily serves various industries, including agriculture, environmental initiatives, insurance, and disaster prevention. In addition I own and operate a Wayzata based small business Wai Nani Surf Paddle & Pedal providing a unique perspective as both a resident and local small business owner.
My dedication to humanitarian efforts led me to spearhead initiatives in Ukraine, culminating in the establishment of Farmerhood, a charity project aiding Ukrainian farmers in war-torn regions. Through a global farmer-to-farmer donation model and digital platform, Farmerhood provides crucial support to thousands of Ukrainian farmers.
Prior to my work at EarthDaily, I held marketing leadership roles in high tech, media/publishing, and co-founded a marketing agency. My commitment to public service includes serving as an elected official in the City of Wayzata, where I held various leadership positions and co-founded the Wayzata Conservancy.
I have recently served on the boards of The Wayzata Conservancy and the YMCA of the North (Ridgedale), and the University of St Thomas Opus College of Business Alumni Board. I hold a BA in History & Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas.
Outside of work and public service, I enjoy spending time with my family—my wife Kristyn, our son Walker, a graduate of Clemson University, and our daughter Paige, a senior Pre-Med student at the University of Miami. My personal interests include history, documentary films, sailing, fishing, and hockey. I am committed to serving the community of Wayzata and leveraging my experience to make positive changes for its residents.
I strongly believe having your voice feed into our city is critical. At my core, I believe government should be responsive to its citizens and this campaign is about you and what you want to see from our city government. I love Wayzata. You do too. Please don’t hesitate to get some time on my calendar, voice your concerns, and help me in this critical campaign.
